Debra Keller (left) and Bernadette Rossi (right)

Debra is so proud of her first mini-skein of handspun yarn! I am Bernadette and I have enjoyed handspinning for well over 20 years. For me, it is one of the most relaxing of the fiber arts...though knitting, crocheting, hand sewing, machine sewing, embroidery, to name a few, are certainly fun as well!

Busy, talented hands at work!

What an enjoyable evening! I don't know about you, but it has been a long time since I shared any time with so many interesting people who shared an interest in everything I love to do.

Drop spindles in Action.

Don't you love that smile!

Lois Fuller putting the Spotlight on Handspinning.

During each meeting we will be Spotlighting a different fiber art. At the first meeting the Spotlight was on Handspinning, on both a wheel and a drop spindle. Both the spinning wheels and drop spindles will be available at all meetings for members to have a mini-lesson after the Spotlight demonstration.
